Great Global Getaways

A promotional-travel marketing site for discounted resort getaways. Destination pages, a gift catalogue and a four-step qualification path, all feeding live booking and enquiry widgets wired straight into the operator's CRM.

Key features

What it does

  • 01

Destinations driven by data, not markup

Every destination page renders from one shared component and a typed data file. Adding the next location is a data entry, not a new page — with honest “coming soon” states for the ones that aren't live yet.

  • 02

A hero carousel built from scratch

Crossfading images with autoplay, arrows and dot navigation, written without a carousel library and carrying the ARIA roles and labels a screen reader needs to make sense of it.

  • 03

Enquiries land straight in the CRM

The survey, the booking calendar and the contact form are live GoHighLevel embeds, so a submission reaches the operator's pipeline without anything in between.

  • 04

    Never silently broken

If an embed URL isn't configured, the page shows a clear placeholder naming the exact setting to fill rather than rendering an empty box that looks like it worked.

  • 05

A gift catalogue tied to bookings

Promotional incentives are listed with their terms up front — including the one-time travel fee — and carry source tracking through to the enquiry.

  • 06

Motion that knows when to stop

Scroll reveals run site-wide through a single wrapper that turns itself off entirely when the visitor's system asks for reduced motion.

Seventeen routes, one system

01 / Web

Arrive

The front door and the destination pages behind it. A custom design system does the work: teal for trust and navigation, an orange reserved strictly for the primary action so there is never a question about what to press next, and a fluid type scale rather than fixed breakpoints.

  • Role-based colour, not a default palette
  • Custom crossfade hero carousel
  • Shared destination template
  • Fluid clamp-based typography

Weigh the offer

Promotional travel is a regulated pitch, and the site treats that as a design constraint rather than fine print. The four-step process is stated before anything is asked for, and the gift catalogue names the qualification criteria and the one-time fee on the card itself.

  • Four-step process, stated up front
  • Gift catalogue with terms on the card
  • Eligibility and disclosure microcopy
  • Accordion FAQ and legal pages

Convert

Where the site hands off. Testimonials and the operator's own story carry the trust, then three separate CRM embeds — survey, calendar, contact — take the enquiry, each with SMS-consent and promotional-package disclosure copy attached.

  • Survey, booking calendar and contact form
  • TCPA-style consent microcopy
  • Guided survey-to-confirmation flow
  • Per-page metadata and Open Graph
